Why Do Yoga?
We all know about its calming and relaxing effect but it is also a holistic approach to wellbeing. In a pose, we are using the whole body: mind, body and breath. There are no mindless repetitive movements. And the focus and stillness in the pose combined with the breathing resets the nervous system resulting in feeling calmer and relaxed but also uplifted and just better about ourselves in general.
Hi, I’m Libby
I am certified as a pregnancy, postnatal and menopause yoga teacher because of my lived experience of journeying through those stages without support, advice & knowledge. These are transformational stages of womanhood. Yoga can be very anchoring and centering at a time in life that is different to the one we have lived so far. I am motivated to help women understand their changing body as they journey through the different stages of life. Let me help make your journey a healthier, more informed and a better one.
PREGNANCY YOGA
Pregnancy yoga is proactive: it strengthens the parts of the body needed to give birth and it relieves the aches and pains associated with pregnancy.
POSTNATAL YOGA
Postnatal yoga gently strengthens the parts of the body that have been stretched out in pregnancy and uncurls and releases tension in the upper body from breastfeeding.
YOGA FOR MENOPAUSE
Yoga is a holistic approach to our wellbeing and positively affects all systems of the body thereby easing all the symptoms of the menopause at the same time.
